ASPwebhosting.com utilizes a network of distributed services providing maximum service uptime and uninterrupted access to technical support via fault tolerant systems.

Our servers are located in two independent data centers in downtown Louisville, KY and a third data center in Brentwood, TN (Nashville). Our VoIP telecom service is located in another data center in Evansville, IN. Internet connectivity is provided via fiber optics from multiple independent Tier 1 backbone providers (AT&T, Qwest, & Level3) for a total of 1.7Gb/sec bandwidth. The data centers in Louisville are connected via private fiber and the data centers in Louisville and Nashville are connected via VPL.

Our equipment is powered from redundant commercial UPS systems fed by  two independent power grids, backed up by diesel generators, cooled to a constant 69° ( +/- 2°) by redundant commercial A/C systems and connected to the Internet via multiple redundant fiber optic links from independent Tier-1 Internet backbone providers. Facility security is provided by bio-metric fingerprint scanners, limited card-key access and monitored 24 hours by both CCTV surveillance and on-site personnel.

Each new Dell PowerEdge 1950 server features a minimum of Dual  Quad Core Xeon 2.0Ghz processors or higher with 4MB level 2 advanced cache, 1333mhz front side bus, 4GB Dual Ranked DIMM's. PE1950's are configured with two 146GB 15K SCSI disk drives split into two individual hardware containers, one for the OS and one for the data partition, utilizing Dell Perc4 hardware RAID controllers on a hot-pluggable back-plane with 256MB of disk cache and redundant hot-plug power supplies. These servers scream!

Servers are each connected to secure VPN accessible APC rebooted power strips and connected to KVM switches for fast access. We understand when you need fast support you don't have time to wait around for someone to hook up a crash cart or go through layers of security to power cycle your system.

Critical data backups are performed daily to our offsite Dell PowerVault 220s Terabyte SCSI Systems. Each system is configured with 14 fault tolerant  15,000RPM 146GB SCSI's configured for RAID Level 5 with failover hot standby drives ready to automatically configure themselves in the unlikely event of a drive failure. Each backup is maintained for at least one week. Yes, we keep seven days of full data backups which can be restored quickly any time you need them!
