Below is a recent example of the uptime of a customer's dedicated web server for the past year.

Active vs. Historical Availability Query Information

Item Selected:
Monitor: Web Service Monitor (w3svc)

Active Query:   Mon Nov 17, 21:45 to
  Tue Nov 18, 21:30

Historical Query:   Sun Nov 18, 0:00 2007 to

Availability is the comparison of stable (or functioning) time to the unstable (or malfunctioning) time. Time periods where there is no data (disabled time) is omitted from numeric computations. Each collected value is weighted based on the duration of the observation. The sum of all the observation lengths is labeled Enabled Time. Availability is measured with a percentage (downtime/uptime).

Historical values are collected and weighted based on a 15 minute period.
